Software QA Engineer for international GreenTech

Cubris is in the process of delivering and extending its Driver Advisory Technology GreenSpeed for international markets. Therefore, we need an experienced Software QA engineer to monitor, optimize, mentor, collaborate and continually improve testing in cooperation with solution architects, developers, project managers.

You will join our QA team to verify and validate that our products correctly implements requirements, meets the operational need under nominal and off-nominal conditions, and introduce no unintended features.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to automation through the development of our test framework and identify the areas that will benefit from testing being automated
• Develop automated tests in C# using SpecFlow and the Gherkin language based on documented test cases
• Check whether the product meets the customer, safety and regulatory requirements, help to find out discrepancies in the product quality and specifications
• Ensure that software development remains focused on the quality of the product
• Facilitate the application of best practices for software engineering processes
• Ensuring the timely completion of deliverables
• Identify high-risk areas early and support in reducing errors in delivered products and increasing probability of project success
• Generate Test cases, test plans, verification and validation reports

About you
We are interested in a new colleague who has experience in quality assurance as part of an agile software development process and has worked with test automation.

Therefore, we are especially looking for you who:

• Have a technical mindset, with a background as a developer or technical tester
• Is competent in various test, verification and validation approaches/methodologies and be able to identify the most suitable method in a given context
• Have experience with Static Code Analysis, C#, SpecFlow, Gherkin
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in writing, grammar, speaking and listening in English
• Have analytical thinking and good observation skills
• Is structured, sharp eyes to details, meticulous, capable of staying focused on the goal, using problem solving and critical thinking skills towards completion of the task
• Is dedicated, honest, responsible, strong collaborator with positive personality
